HOW TO SET UP MASCHINE
MASCHINE+ is a sampler, a drum machine, a synth, and an on-stage superpower. In short, it’s whatever you make it. Leave the laptop behind, jam with your other gear, and create beats in minutes with a wealth of on-board sounds, instruments, and effects. It’s the iconic MASCHINE workflow, with fewer strings attached. It’s been over a decade since Native Instruments introduced the Maschine platform.The dedicated hardware-software combo was an instant hit with users looking for the tactile control of outboard. Download Native Instruments Maschine 2.10.1.795 from our website for free. The most frequent installer filenames for the program are: Maschine 2.exe and Maschine.exe etc. The software is included in Multimedia Tools. This software is a product of Native Instruments GmbH. Native Instruments Maschine was developed to work on Windows XP, Windows. Open Windows Explorer and navigate to: C: Users.User Name. AppData Local Native Instruments Maschine. Delete the files Pluginsia32.xml and Pluginsx64.xml. Start the MASCHINE software and open Preferences Plug-ins Locations. Click ADD and navigate to your VST plug-in folder. If you are using the 32-bit version of MASCHINE.
Native Access is a small cloud-based application that handles downloads, installation, and updates for Native Instruments software. It’s the easiest way to get all your music creation tools ready for use, so you can spend more time making music and less time managing products.
STEP 1: DOWNLOAD, INSTALL, AND RUN NATIVE ACCESS

- If you already have Native Access, just start the application.
- You’ll be asked to log in with your NI account. If you don't have one, you can create one within the app.
- Please pay particular attention to the 'Installation Preferences' – see below for details.
STEP 2: ENTER SERIAL NUMBER IN NATIVE ACCESS
Select ‘Add serial’, and enter your MASCHINE serial number as shown on the flyer in your product box or on the underside of your hardware unit.
STEP 3: INSTALL SOFTWARE
Install the MASCHINE software and library, and all other software you need. If you already have the MASCHINE software, please upgrade to the latest version.
In order to create the necessary preset database, the MASCHINE 2 software should be launched once in standalone mode prior to being used as a plug-in.
IMPORTANT: When you run Native Access for the first time, you’ll be asked to ‘select a target folder’. Native Access will install all product content, such as sample libraries, into this target folder. Sample content in particular takes up a lot of space, so you may want to install everything to a dedicated hard drive.
IMPORTANT: On Windows computers, you need to point Native Access to your preferred VST plug-in folder. Once selected, all Native Instruments VST plug-ins will be installed into this folder.

*The MASCHINE 2 software update was released in September 2013. If you bought your MASCHINE or MASCHINE MIKRO after that date, you’re probably already running MASCHINE 2 software and don’t need this update. To check which MASCHINE version you have, start MASCHINE, then click on Help > About MASCHINE. The version number is top-left.
